So our vacation has finished *at least mine* (Caro has some days left before her maternity leave ends). After visiting Caro's parents in a warm beautiful Nice and staying one week in our home here in Cessy it was time for aour family to do our annual summer trip to Sweden. This time was a bit special since it would be the first time for Théa to go on a longer trip and also to meet her grandfather, "Farfar"Jan but also her cousin Carl and his parents Mattias and Lisa.
Théa was incredibly calm and nice during the whole flight of 2h40min and the cartrip of 1h40min. We are really lucky to have such a nice baby... I was a little bit afraid since I have encountered plenty of screaming babies on the Sweden flight among the 8 years I have been travelling but our princess could not behave better than she did!

Grandmother, "Farmor" Åsa has already met Thea when she was 1 month old in our home but was very happy to see her again. She could really tell the difference in size since the last time.

And "Farfar" Jan was of course also happy to meet the newest family member, they became friends almost instantly! ;)
As I already told this was the first meeting with Swedish cousin Carl and they seemed to like eachother, Carl got a little bit jelous of Théa when she was in "farmor" Åsa's knee once but no long hard feelings there. Carl is about 8 months older than Théa if I remember right but a rather different personality, not as calm as his baby cousin Théa but just as cute! Maybe it is an age thing? We´ll see....

During our stay in Sweden the Olympic Games in Beying was on it's last week, Sweden was not at all successful this year and did their worst olympics ever (finished 56 in the medal standings, just after Tunisia!!!) France on the other hand ( And I hate to admit it) did well and finished 10th.

Théa finally got a gift that was sent almost 5 months ago by my mum's sister Kerstin, she had the wrong address to us and the packet had been bouncing between countries before finally arriving to my parents place. The contents can be seen below!

Before we left to sweden we started to give Théa some "real food". We steam cook and mash different vegetables (potatoes, carrots, broccoli, "palsternacka" or "panais", corn etc.) into a purée. She gets about 130gr every lunch and seems to like everything we throw at her!
Thats a funny thing to feed her and see how she enjoys to eat something different from the milk!

Finally I want to thank our parents for letting us stay at their places and supporting us with Théa and also making our vacation into a lovely stay. I am sure they also had a great time and promise that there will be more of that later on! Also a thank you to friends giving presents and generally beeing nice, you are all welcome to visit us!!!
